About M.E
Children should be surrounded by playful art that sparks the imagination and feeds their curiosity. We curate distinctive art collections that inspire, taking care over every detail, so you can create spaces both children and grown-ups want to spend time in for generations to come.
Our Story
We’re Ciara and Dorcas, self-confessed interiors obsessives and creators of Mini Editions.
As a parent and artist, Ciara found herself disheartened by the volume of wall art available for children that all looked the same, lacking any real substance or consideration for interior design.
It got us thinking – why is it so hard to find art for children we’d actually want on our walls?
As the minds behind boutique artist agency Grand Matter, we work with some of the best contemporary illustrators and artists around the world. We’re in a great position to bring thoughtful design into children’s spaces, making it easy to find something special, that brings a room together, without talking down to children.
So Mini Editions was born. Collaborating with handpicked artists, printers and artisanal framers, we went about carefully curating a collection of inspiring wall art that both children and grown-ups can enjoy, taking care over every detail.
Handmade Frames
All of our archival quality gliclée prints come with the option for framing at checkout, available in a choice of carefully selected hand painted finishes, delivered direct to your door ready to hang in the perfect spot.
Our frames are skillfully handmade in Somerset to the highest quality and designed to last as long as your print does (which is over one hundred years!). We only use solid wood mouldings and real glass glazing for a perfectly smooth finish and robust result so you can display at home with confidence.
Sustainability
We’ve made a commitment to our planet and society to operate in an honest and sustainable way, taking care over every detail.
Each artwork is printed using sustainably sourced paper and water based inks, and framed with FSC approved solid wood mouldings. We’re able to reduce excess stock and waste by individually printing and framing each order by customer request, so we’re only using what’s needed.
Our prints are delivered in recycled packaging, using paper-based tape and waste cardboard as padding where possible. Every element of our packaging is recyclable, but if you want to bring new life to our boxes and tubes head over to the Mini Makers hub to discover fun ways to Reuse M.E
